My Medicine Story
This work began
at home.
I am a mother to two neurodivergent boys: AuDHD, PDA and dyslexia. And I come from a family line where this nervous system profile existed long before it had language, support or reverence.
My father carried the same wiring. He was misunderstood, pathologized and often tormented for it. His trauma, personal and ancestral, moved through our family as dysregulation, hostility and survival.
When my eldest son was born, I recognized the pattern immediately. He feels like my father’s mirror: the same intensity, the same challenges, the same nervous system sensitivity, and the same brilliance.
What was once seen as “too much” revealed itself as unfinished healing. My son carries both neurodevelopmental trauma and a genetic nervous system inheritance. When I began to see this clearly, everything changed. This was no longer a parenting issue. This was lineage alchemy.
My son is not here to be fixed. He is here to complete what our family line could not.
This kind of transformation asks something profound of the parent. For me, it means being at my fullest capacity, in my nervous system, my subconscious and my energy, so I can meet his needs without passing the weight forward.
This is the work I now hold for other families: a place for parents to be supported in their own right. Not from hierarchy. Not from theory. From lived, embodied devotion.
